What is an Energy Audit?

It is a one-off energy savings study conducted by professional Energy Conservation Consultants to determine the current energy efficiencies of a whole business site.

The Consultant examines and analyses the accuracy of the energy bills, the economy of the electricity and gas charge rates, and also analyses the energy efficiency of the building structures, the energy consuming equipment together with the energy consuming practices. The Consultant then prepares a comprehensive Energy Audit Report which makes cost-effective recommendations for energy efficient improvements to ensure cheaper electricity bills and cheaper gas bills.

Statistics show that, with professional advice, the energy efficiency of the average business site can improve by up to 40% (i.e. up to 40% lower bills, permanently).
