Mission Statement
Ours is a grassroots campaign to empower people and push the political process from the bottom up. Our aim is to demonstrate how individual and collective actions can make a difference by motivating people to:

Sign up for Green Power schemes to really expand the alternative energy, carbon-neutral industries - wind, solar, thermal, tidal - to get us away from coal-fired energy sources, other fossil fuels and reduce our dependence on them.

Really reduce their energy use in their homes and businesses, show/ guide them on how to do this - set targets and goals.

Act as role models, individually and collectively in homes and businesses to inspire others to follow suit.

Motivate others - by educating and informing through networks, organisations and email trees and by gifting and inspiring.
Our aim is to also:

Build awareness of the issues, impacts and threats of Global Warming & show how individual & collective actions can make a difference.

Build awareness of other major sources of greenhouse gas emissions and initiate action and change in all these areas - transport, growth economy Vs steady-state economy, food & resources etc.

Work co-operatively with other groups/ organizations with similar goals.
